RCIC is incredibly pleased to announce that it has received a capital grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation specifically to make major renovations to the RCIC gym.
Upon receiving the grant, we got to work right away and began the renovation. With the help of Allah swt and the countless hours of dedication from the staff and volunteers we were able to complete this project in relatively short time.
The upgrades include: new energy efficient lighting, new paint from floor to ceiling, new doors, and a refinished floor. These renovations will allow for the gym to be a safe environment for all in our community to access and be physically active.
As part of our strategic efforts to be self sufficient, we will continue to explore alternative funding measures to keep the RCIC facilities functional, safe, secure, beautiful, and available for the community to enjoy.
Alhamdulillah this year has been tremendous year for the RCIC, and inshallah the future is even brighter. Ours is such a wonderful community, and we are so proud to be part of it.

To celebrate this great news, we will have a GYM open house this Friday Dec 23 @ 6pm. Representatives from Trillium Foundation and our local Member of Provincial Parliament will be in attendance. Please join us along with your family and your friends.
